Guns
Most hunters prefer to bring their own guns to Argentina. A limited number of rental guns are available, but what better opportunity to exercise that favorite gun or shoot several guns of different types and gauges on the same day.
Each hunter, 21 and older, may bring 4
shotguns for the hunt. Guns must be registered in the United
States or home country and then some paperwork must be completed,
but this will be taken care of bythe outfitter or the Lodge prior
to your departure. Over/under or side by side are the best
for Argentina. Automatics are OK, but with lower power ammo
and a lot of shooting, some will not stand up as well as an
over/under or side by side. 12,16,20, 28 or 410 gauge
ammunition can be available in unlimited quantities at $12-14 a box
(2010 price). Please confirm in advance for 16/28/410 gauges. You may shoot as little or as much as you like. |
