Giving Back at Estancia Cortaderas

While enjoying the great hunting experiences here in Argentina, many hunters have had the opportunity to reflect on the physical and financial blessings that have allowed them to come here and spend a few memorable days doing what only a few have ever been privileged to do.  Some have asked if there is some way they could give something back to the local community.  Our answer is that Estancia Cortaderas also feels it is important to give something back and we are proud to support Father Henry Williams in his efforts working with poor and orphaned children in the nearby village of Hernandarias. 

Father Williams runs a school for under privileged kids where they are provided two meals a day and receive a good basic education.  He also supports the local orphanage in Hernandarias.  All this, including the actual construction of the school has been done with donations. 

Estancia Cortaderas supports Father Williams by giving the majority of the game birds to his school and orphanage.  Estancia Cortaderas also helps by making cash donations to Father Williams and by asking any hunters who would like to help to give back in this way to make a contribution to Father Williams.  Envelopes are provided by Estancia Cortaderas at the Lodge. 

Many hunters have visited him at his school, only about two miles from the Lodge and have enjoyed meeting him and seeing what he does for the kids there. A few U.S. dollars goes a long way for these kids.
